I had stripped nude on deserted beaches before, but in my mind those teen nudist episodes were not “official” because they were short and not relaxing.

That was certainly not possible for me in the very conservative home in which I was raised. I do remember very vividly my first experience. When I was 13 nudist teenager, our family was trailor camping in a forest in the south of England. It was a lovely morning and I was up before anyone else. I stepped outside in the dewy morning in my pajamas and found a path leading away into the woods. The temptation was too great. Once I was out of sight, I took off all my clothing and ran naked through the forest. It was a fantastic nudist teenager feeling! Unfortunately, it was not an experience I could repeat easily. As I grew through my teen years, there was no possibility of being nude at home or in the back yard. I had to be satisfied wearing brief underwear and I would sometimes lie on a towel in the yard. My mother was not thrilled, but did not say too much. Some years later, I was married and I remember with great fondness a day when my young bride and I walked naked in a field. It was a great feeling of freedom, but not one which has been repeated often. Over the years, I have visited Wreck Beach when I was visiting Vancouver. There I found people very open and accepting. Unlike many I have read about in this forum, I did not have any hesitation about taking off my clothes with strangers. It was a very freeing experience. I remember once lying across a log from a young woman and a couple of young men who were having a conversation. They were totally normal in the things they discussed although they and I were naked. I thought what a great sense of self confidence each person showed, especially the young woman. Perhaps that is what many people lack, the self confidence and positive self image to be themselves even when they are clothed. My children(nudist teenager) are grown now so my wife is much more accepting of my being naked around the house and in the yard. She smiles at me and recognizes that when I have been able to lie in the sun naked for an hour or so, I am so much more relaxed. She says, "If this is what it takes for you to be relaxed, I'm all for it". This means that it's o.k. for me to be naked and have no tan lines. She does not particularly share my enthusiasm. For those of you who are easily able to be naked and free at home, the beach or the club, enjoy that freedom. Not all people are able to experience that degree of freedom and enjoy being comfortable in their own skin, whether they are naked alone or with others.

But even so, you are too young to really grasp it like a teenager or adult. Anyway, all of us siblings have seen each other in the nude at one time or another. But that will stop once reaching a certain age due to the privacy issue. As we all know, this is especially true with girls. I accidentally walked in on my younger sister in her room and she was stark naked. She screamed her head off and I thought I was going to lose mine when my mother came. But she left her bedroom door wide open. If it had been closed, I would have knocked before entering for sure. As a result, my sister ended up getting in trouble instead of me. We had all just came in from swimming on a hot,sweltering day and were changing back into our regular clothes. She was 12 years old then and I was 14 teen nudist. Back to my younger days, I had showered with my dad numerous times. My older brother shared our own room just as both of my sisters had theirs. Since we were of the same sex, nudity among us was nothing. I have also seen my mother a few times in the nude. But once again, I was very young and wasn't developed enough to understand. And that's most children with their mothers anyway as they are growing up. But I don't think I ever showered with my mother like I did with dad.

The desire to get stripped at a nude beach and the fear of letting the people around you see you naked...Both of these feelings are strong – though the eagerness to expose the most secret corners of your body to the caressing rays of sun is still stronger.
